Weekly Update of COVID 19 Cases and Deaths in Lee County

In the past seven days, the number of additional confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Lee County, as reported by DHEC, has increased by 102. The County has also been informed of 2 additional deaths of county residents in the past seven days. Along with the total number of cases since the COVID Emergency began, the county receives a total for the number of confirmed cases in the county in the most recent 14 days. The 14-day time frame is significant with this virus as that is the typical incubation period for the virus and it is during this period of time when an individual with the virus is most likely to be symptomatic and a possible spreader of the illness. Statewide media provides the daily case count for the state as well as each county so that anyone who is interested in the daily information can obtain this data.
