Bishopville High Memorial Gymnasium was built in 1956 and was recently renovated in 2007. The gym and football field was once the home to the Bishopville High Fighting Dragons (1936-2000). It now serves the citizens of Lee County and the surrounding community as a place for recreation and leisure. The gymnasium is available for rental for a fee on a first come first serve basis, with table and chairs available upon request at the time of reservation.
